Dato' Sri Wong Sze Chien

Dato Sri Wong Sze Chien serves as the Group Chairman and was appointed to the Board of TAFI Industries Berhad (“TAFI”) in 2020. His visionary leadership has been pivotal in steering the company’s strategic direction and driving its growth.

An accomplished graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Dato’ Sri Wong holds a degree in Accountancy. He further distinguished himself by obtaining professional certifications from CPA Australia, the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), and ASEAN CPA, solidifying his reputation as a highly qualified and well-respected professional in the field of accounting. Dato’ Sri Wong began his career in 1999 with MF Chai & Co., an audit firm, where he rose to the position of Audit Director. In 2009, he transitioned into the property development and construction industry, marking a pivotal shift in his professional journey.

Alongside his substantial experience in these sectors, Dato’ Sri Wong has an extensive background in audit, tax and advisory services, particularly in business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions across a diverse portfolio of industries. 

With nearly 20 years of experience in the property development industry, Dato’ Sri Wong, as the Armani Group’s Group Chairman, is poised to lead the Group into its next phase of growth. His deep understanding of the company’s values, culture, and resources, coupled with his extensive knowledge of construction, property development, and finance, positions him as a forward-thinking and formidable leader.
