Hailing from Merlimau, Anuar is the younger brother of the renowned singer Ziana Zain. His early foray into the entertainment world began with a duet album with Ellina. Despite facing challenges, Anuar’s determination never wavered. A brief hiatus saw him embrace a career as a flight attendant with MAS, yet destiny had other plans.

In 1998, Anuar’s star rose again when he inked a contract with Warner Music Malaysia, releasing his debut album “Anuar Zain”. This marked the beginning of a triumphant phase in his career. Awards like Best New Artist and Best Male Vocalist at the Music Industry Awards (AIM) in 1998 validated his immense talent.

Collaborating with Synchrosound Music after parting ways with Warner Music, Anuar produced captivating albums featuring hit tracks like Permata, Mungkin, Eternity of Love, and Sesucinya Cintamu. He even ventured into acting, gracing the silver screen alongside the sensational Amy Mastura in “Bintang Hati”.
