Chris Yong began his career in banking, where he quickly rose through the ranks, successfully managing a diverse portfolio across business and corporate sectors. He was instrumental in developing green financing frameworks and driving strategic initiatives that aligned financial solutions with long-term growth and impact-driven goals. His experience in structuring complex deals and leading cross-functional teams set a strong foundation for his transition into the property sector.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the University of London, which equipped him with a strong understanding of financial systems, market dynamics, and organizational strategy. This academic grounding has allowed him to approach property development with both analytical precision and commercial insight.

Today, Chris is a seasoned entrepreneur in property development, serving as the Group Deputy CEO and Executive Director of Armani Group. He oversees a diverse portfolio of property development projects with a combined Gross Development Value (GDV) exceeding RM10 billion, ranging from residential to commercial and mixed-use developments. His leadership plays a crucial role in guiding Armani Group’s long-term vision and delivering high-impact developments that balance innovation, functionality and value. 

He is also the Managing Director of Brightwood Development, leading developments across the Klang Valley.
