Meet Tee Ching Guan, the astute Chief Operating Officer of Lian Hoe Huat Enterprise (LHH). This dynamic individual, alongside his business partner Ng Yip Shian, co-founded the company in 2014, driven by their shared passion for vegetable trading in Malaysia. Combining their vast experiences and knowledge, they set out on a journey to create a thriving business in the import, export, and distribution of fruits and vegetables.

LHH conducts a vibrant symphony of over 300 fruit and vegetable varieties, sourced locally and imported from exotic destinations like Thailand, Vietnam, and China. Witness their symphony come to life as they expertly export pre-packed produce to their sister company, LHH Vegetable Pte Ltd, igniting the kitchens of over 1,000 food establishments in Singapore. Within Malaysia, they orchestrate a flawless distribution, ensuring every vegetable reaches its destination, fresh and vibrant.

The company’s exponential growth led to a major milestone in January 2018 when they moved to a spacious 30,000 sq ft premise, triple the size of their previous facility. This strategic relocation allowed them to accommodate their growing business, facilitating better cold chain management with a bigger cold room and temperature-controlled processing and packing facilities. With a dedicated workforce of over 250 employees, the new premise offers an enhanced work environment that fosters productivity and efficiency.

As part of their vision to increase their supply and foster research, LHH is venturing into farming, with a 150-acre piece of land dedicated to crop cultivation. By exploring farming opportunities, they seek to strengthen their position in the market and bring a fresh perspective to their business operations.

With an eye on the future, Ching Guan and his team are investing in state-of-the-art machinery to meet the growing demand for processed vegetables and to continuously seek innovative machinery to optimise the operations. In line with their commitment to growth, they also actively seek new business opportunities and harmonious partnerships with potential suppliers. They plan to debut in the retail market in both Singapore and Malaysia, set to take centre stage with a captivating ensemble of products.
